Logline A dealer introduces his younger brother to the drug trade business.
Synopsis With a baby on the way Tyson sees his window for exiting the drug dealing game closing fast, so on this day he maximizes every moment to school his predecessor and younger brother, Ritchie, on the inns and outs of the dangerous crack/cocaine trade. Care free and naive, Ritchie has an abrupt awakening when he sees the extreme contrast of his future clients; everything from vagabonds to businessmen, and movie producers to high school friends. Although lucrative, it becomes abundantly clear that Tyson makes his living at the expense of others' wellbeing... a fact that he faces everyday with his eyes wide open. On this day things are not all lectures and laughs though, as a long standing issue boils to the surface when David, an old friend of the brothers, tries to contact Tyson only to be shunned. Ritchie is furious, but Tyson knows that years of heavy drug abuse have rendered David entirely untrustworthy. Ritchie's anger is eclipsed only by Tony's primal rage when Tyson calls child services on Tony and has his daughter taken away for offering her cleaning services to Tyson in exchange for a hit.Everything takes a turn for the worse when Tyson catches his competitor, Rick, "cutting his grass". The brawl that ensues is no more than a catalyst for the inevitable. Having enemies on all fronts and the vulnerability of a pregnant wife alone at home, Tyson will be forced to make some hard decisions before this day is over.
